- **Event Description**: Gruodžio 19 d. 18 val. pristatysime antrąjį Rupert žurnalą, kurtą drauge su Alternatyvios edukacijos programos (AEP) 2025 dalyviais ir dalyvėmis. Jis žymi AEP 2025 pabaigą ir kviečia permąstyti šiandieninės menininkės poziciją – kaip įrankių ir nuovokų rinkinį. 

Tai nėra nei katalogas, nei ataskaita, bet tekstų, pastabų, eilėraščių, schemų, abejonių bei gličų – surankiotų iš Rupert Alternatyvios edukacijos programos (AEP) 2025 dalyvių ir mentorių – talpykla; klausimų aplankas ir praktikų konsteliacija, žyminti programos eigą. Archetipai, struktūravę mūsų metus – sekretorė, šamanė, akademikė, lobistė, publicistė ir virtuozė – yra ne metaforos, bet metodai, pozicijos ir raumenys, be kurių kūrybinis darbas būtų neįmanomas. Iš šiuolaikinių menininkių tikimasi ne tik kurti, bet ir administruoti, prodiusuoti, finansuoti bei strateguoti savo praktiką – nuolat persijunginėjant tarp skirtingų darbo režimų. Tik ar turime įrankių atlikti visiems šiems privalomiems vaidmenims, kad užtikrintai tęstume savo veiklą? 

Žurnalo pristatymo vakarą vyks skaitymai ir diskusija su dalimi AEP dalyvių.

On 19 December at 6 PM, we will launch the second Rupert Journal, created together with the participants of the Alternative Education Programme (AEP) 2025. The Rupert Journal 2 marks the end of the AEP 2025 and invites to rethink and reflect on the position of an artist today, as a set of tools and sensitivities.

This is not a catalogue nor a report, but a container of texts, notes, poems, diagrams, doubts, and glitches – gathered from the participants and tutors of Rupert’s Alternative Education Programme (AEP) 2025. It is a folder for questions, a constellation of practices that marks the programme’s process. The archetypes that framed our year – the secretary, the shaman, the scholar, the lobbyist, the publicist, and the virtuoso – are not metaphors but methods, muscles, and positions through which artistic labour unfolds. Today’s artists are expected to be not just creators, but also administrators, producers, financiers, and strategists of their practice, constantly shifting between different modes of work. Yet, do we have the tools to embrace the many roles we must play to sustain our work, with confidence?

The launch evening will feature readings and a discussion with AEP participants.
